June 2nd, 2012: Graduation is a momentous day for 729 Bobcats. Four AFJROTC cadet seniors: Noah Young, Virginia Bigelow, Daniel Daubendiek, and Tyler Dang have been accepted to the colleges/universities that they have applied to and will commit to faithfully serve in our nation’s military as commissioned officers.
U.S.Army:
Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Virginia Bigelow
Cadet Bigelow has been accepted toNorwichUniversityand Virginia Military Institute and hopes to be accepted into her first choice, theUnited StatesMilitaryAcademyatWest Point,New York. She will major in Psychology. Bigelow is undecided as to what her military occupation specialty (MOS).
Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Noah Young
Cadet Young has received a $55,000 Army ROTC scholarship toTexasA&MUniversity, and will major in political science. Cadet Young intends to be a commissioned Special Forces (Green Beret’s) Officer and later on be a Private Military Advisor.
U.S.Air Force
Cadet Chief Master Sergeant Daniel Daubendiek
Cadet Daubendiek has been accepted toPurdue University,Indianaand will pursue a major in business/finance. Daubendiek wants to commission as an officer in the U.S. Air Force Reserve Security Forces, as he wishes to become a stock market financial analyst in business/finance.
U.S.Marine Corps:
Cadet Lieutenant Colonel Tyler Dang
Cadet Dang has been accepted to The Citadel, The Military college of South Carolina and will major in criminal justice/ law enforcement. Dang wants to be an Infantry Officer, and have a full military career in the U.S. Marine Corps
