1.14- Fred and Rose West 

In season one episode fourteen, Fred and Rose West are a serial killing duo who are preparing for their execution, however the thing that made this episode pull at your heartstrings was that Rose was not guilty of any of the murders but refused to plead innocent in order to protect her son. This episode was based loosely on the real case of Rose and Fred West, a killing duo who have killed over a dozen young British girls between 1967 and 1987 in Gloucestershire. The main difference between the real case and the episode was that sadly the real Rose did commit the vicious crimes she was accused of doing, in fact her husband was the one trying to cover for Rose by saying he committed the murders alone. She was later charged and sentenced to life in prison while her husband Fred died in prison.
