On January 11th Sara Hartman, the art teacher had students in her ceramic class make a bonsai tree. As one of her students, I followed the instructions to her example tree. 

Materials Needed

• Foil
• Paper Towels
• Paper Plate (base)

After gathering all the materials needed everyone is left to use their creative minds to make their own unique tree. 

Materials (I) needed:

• Glue
• Tweezers
• A thin sheet of brown paper
• Jasmine vine flowers
• Limonium sinuatum flowers 
•  Paper Flower Bouquet

Instructions:

Step 1 – Wrap the foil into a tree-like position

Step 2 – Wrap paper towels onto the tree-like foil form

Step 3 – Glue the thin brown sheet onto your base 

Step 4 –  Use tweezers to take apart the flower bouquet and then glue each flower upright on the three branches

Step 5 – Glue the faux grass onto the base
