What is meditation?

Many people believe that meditation is about clearing your mind and staying focused, but that´s the result of meditation. Meditation is a practice, so having distractions is good because you can´t practice meditation if you don´t allow yourself to acknowledge the distractions and go back to focusing on one thing. With meditation, you can achieve an emotionally and mentally stable state.

Also, if you have ADHD, don´t feel discouraged because you actually meditate all the time without even realizing it. Hyper focusing on one thought, object, or activity is meditating because you have allowed yourself to focus on one thing.

What are the benefits of meditation?

  • Reduces stress
  • Decrease of negative emotions
  • Increasing self-awareness
